- Jobs: Reyna is hired to do lots of things, from bodyguard work to "taking care" of a bothersome enemy. Perhaps her job involves your character this time?- Social: She spends lots of time in Ul'dah, it being her home, and listening for rumors and stories in the Quicksand. Meet her there!- Status: Reyna's mother, Ophelia, is a high-end seamstress in Ul'dah, and of course the name of Thorne is a relatively well-known one in Ul'dah. Background:
Childhood: Reyna grew up rather wealthy in the city of Ul'dah. Her mother, Ophelia, is a successful seamstress, and cared greatly for Reyna. She was given everything she could ever need, though being raised without a father was rather hard on her. She loved her mother, but didn't quite have the support and structure she needed in her life from those formative years.Teen Years: It was at this point that Reyna's life took a turn. She will readily admit that she was a terrible teenager, and she could really have used a good thump on the head at times. She got into lots of fights with her peers, and got mixed up with an unsavory crowd. Thieving, smuggling, and generally acting out were common occurrences, and the people she surrounded herself with were not good influences on her. She was quite the natural at sneaking and thieving, which ultimately got her friends to talk her into more dangerous heists.Naturally, that would backfire when she finally got arrested at sixteen. The fight with the Brass Blades nearly killed her, and had ended the life of one of her close friends. Theft and resisting arrest were the technical charges, but she had that and more on her record. At seventeen years old, it seemed her future had been sealed. But it was her mother who came to her rescue. Ophelia pulled a good many strings and paid a great amount of gil to get Reyna released, playing the "distant relation of the Thorne family" card. After safely returning her daughter to her loving arms, Ophelia begged and pleaded, and finally was able to scream some sense into her. She finally realized the damage she was doing to her life.Adulthood/Present: These days, Reyna has turned her life around. She no longer lives a life of crime, but devotes her skills to delivering vigilante justice upon the criminals who prey on the innocent. She received training from the Rogues in Limsa Lominsa, under a Limsan rogue named Eddard Mills, and has honed herself into an even deadlier shadow.Family History: Reyna knows little about her Xaela heritage, but has distant relations to the Thorne family in Ul'dah. Ophelia probably does not appear on any official family trees, however.
